Gauge swapping on the FXDL-S

After riding my Low Rider S for a short while I see I am more interested in seeing the RPMs vs the Speed. Is it possible to swap positions of the gauges so the Tachometer is up front?

I tried, actually my very first mod attempt. The cup mounting depth is different and you cannot swap.

no no... you just need to make adjustments and actually modify. "Can't", "cannot", and "can not" are not acceptable. There's doing, and then there's not doing.

Can't here is simply that the stock configuration "can't" support the modification without additional labor or cost. I am open to any suggestions you might have otherwise for a way to do this without significant effort.
