You running that thunderheader without a heat shield ? Pipe finishes off the bike 👍🏽
Yeah for now, I just can't justify 200ish for the full heat shields. I might get some but for now Im sick of working on it, I just want to ride it haha
If that is true, I hope it is because HD will be releasing a 2018 CVO Low Rider 117.
Ive heard all sorts of stuff about the 18-up Dyna changes from them using one universal frame for touring and dynas built like the touring/fxr frame to talks of a "Sport-Glide" being patented but the MoCo. Who knows. But one thing I know for sure f the FXDLS did in fact get 86'ed for 2018. So well see!
Got some all leather LPs for the S. I would have just ran with the canvas bags, but those are for older dynas and they sit lower on the struts when installed on the new bikes. The canvas bags are sold to a buddy so I didn't have to shell out much for the new ones which was nice. I may be selling the DX in the near future to start a FXRP project. Ive been wanting to do a RP for a few years now and I can finally get the change if purple drank finds a new home.

Interesting, I wonder what that will do for resale. Not that I really care right now because Im head over heels in love with this bike but a 2 year model run with twin disk, good suspension and a great engine surely it will be a sought after bike?
Anyway, I'll continue to ride the **** out of mine

I bought my heat shields from some random Google search that came up on the shopping tab. I paid half of what J&P Cycles was asking at the time. I can't remember the name of the place but its worth a shot to just Google the part numbers you need and see what comes up.

I'm very interested in seeing what happens with this. It could be a complete game-changer if Harley does it right.
