Pretty sure I understand what needs to be done to get power to them now. I was questioning whether to just leave the top alone (just like in the pic above), mount the sigs to the tree pinch bolts and connect underneath, or..........should I try to clean-up (shrink wrap and tuck) that exposed wire/grommet into the switch housing. Can I just leave it alone and cut like it is? I did ride with it like that all summer?
I do like your idea of just getting another set with the wires ready to go.
Thanks
I'm pretty sure I understand what needs to be done to get power to the sigs now. I can mount them to the tree/pinch bolts and then reconnect underneath the tank with some connectors and soldering. I do like your idea of simply getting a set of lights with the wiring all intact already.
What I wasn't sure of is whether I can simply leave the upper wire/grommet (in pic above) alone like it is, or.....do I have to somehow splice, shrink-wrap those wires and tuck them into the housing. Not much to work with up there, unless it 'll make more sense once I open up the housing?
Thanks
