Yup. I've done it myself. I would consider it for my covers if I had a blonde engine or lots of other brushed metal. Converting eveeything is just not a project I'm interested in undertaking. The black cases are still in great shape.

 

No tank badge, my fav is when people ask me, "what kind of bike is that?"

 

I think I'm liking that chrome lower/black upper rocker box combo. Not so sure about the black pushrod tubes. Are those factory?

No they're not factory and I don't like them either. They were on there when I picked it up last September. I've spent so much $$ on other mods I've left them at this point.

I like the black upper/ chrome lower rocker combo. I have the same on my StreetGlide, but it's gloss black.

They should have gone gloss black on the tubes...
