DIY Throwover Saddlebag mounts??

Has anyone ever taken throwover saddlebags and hooked them to fender mounts? I have some ideas but wanted to see if anyone has done a DIY or had some ideas themselves.

I have the Harley Leather throwover saddlebags with the saddle bag supports now.

I have the Viking over the fender bags. Now they are quick release, with a little fabrication. On an off in 5 minutes.

I will check those out but I already have HD leather throwovers. I read a few other forums and I might pull the trigger on a couple easy brackets.

You can separate the bags, then get sheet metal and cut a template of the bag like I did, then cut 2 per bag, one inside one outside, then drill holes to mount. I had the plates powdercoated black.

I also built QD brackets using 1/8 flat stock, a second set of sissy bar docking points, and a set of locking sissy bar latches I had laying around.
