I just didn't know we aren't allowed to modify motorcycles beyond how the MOCO sets them up!!! This is gonna send a shock wave through the community, that is for sure. Luckily, we've got 5150northrider to spread the word!!

Will Harley Davidson detachable sideplates and sissy bar go on my 2017 Lowrider S? When I look it up on the Harley site it says it doesn't fit my bike. Please explain what I need to do to get this accomplished. Would be greatly appreciated!
I had a similiar problem and didn't want to change my tail lights at all. What I ended up doing was getting a fixed sissy bar but putting a couple notches in it to make it much easier to get on or off.
A detachable sissy bar takes 30 seconds to take off. A fixed one takes about 40 minutes. A Notched fixed one takes about 5 minutes tops.
Not as quick but certainly acceptable.
If you're in England you might have more trouble finding parts, or you have to pay a crazy amount to get something imported.
Sideplates and a separate sissy bar for them might be cheaper to import, the one I have came in a very big box.
