Nah, no LEDs, so it's not a load issue I don't think. Both bulbs are standard 1156s I picked up from Pep Boys.

I ended up having the same problem and after searching countless forum posts I found the problem was the contact where the bulb sits was reversed, there are two pins and when they are mis aligned it throws codes and causes the low range issue. There is quite a bit of slack in the back and can spin pretty easily. Just take a mini screw driver and try turning the round back plate 180 degrees. Fixed it for me!! 👍👍

There re is a little notch to stop it from spinning but anything can happen I guess when it's rambling along 😉
