couple questions. Installed the pcv yesterday. 06 dyna, instructions are confusing.

Do i need to purchase something to accompany the Unit?

does this thing not use the O2 sensors in exhaust?

Also, can someone give me step by step instructions on how to upload a map into the program, then transfer it from computer to bike?

I cant find any help in foums or videos. I have messaged dyno jet about it, waiting for reply.

Where did you buy the power commander?

 

1st time I saw people talking about PCVs I was Harley doesn't use PCVs, Positive Crankcase Ventilation LOL

 

You eliminate the 02s completely. Go on Dynojet website, download the software to the laptop your going to use to transfer maps to the PCV. Youll know youve got what you need when it puts an icon on your main menu (desktop). Then go the the map your wanting to download, register to gain access and download it to a folder. Once you have that map, pull it up on the screen, hook your patch cord to the PCV and click 'send map'. It will say 'map sent successfully' and you should be ready to fire It up.
The only extra equipment youll need is a patch cable from your laptop to the input port on the PCV which usually comes with your Power Commander.
