You have many options, I would recommend a full light as opposed to retrofitting an LED bulb into your stock housing which isn't made to project an LED light. You will have much higher light output, but anyone in oncoming traffic will hate you.

Moons MC has a couple different options, I have their Daymaker ripoff for my fatbob that I think is pretty good. I don't have any firsthand knowledge of if their lights are any
different than the amazon ones or not, but they offer a lifetime warranty which was enough cause for me to go with their product.

As someone else mentioned, the daymaker Harley sells is made through JW Speaker. I would say that if you're going to spend that much money, you're better off going with the newer version that JW Speaker offers instead of the dated Harley version. If you want the absolute best they even make a model that detects when you are leaning into a turn and adjusts the light accordingly to help you see even better, pretty cool but spendy.

Also, I'm not sure whether or not Rigid sells any plug and play headlight for HD bikes, but they have a reputation in the offroad world for making the best quality and most durable lighting solutions, definitely an option worth exploring. I have seen people put the 7" LED into their FXRT fairings, and it puts out a ridiculous amount of light.

A friend of mine bought the cheap-made in China, off brand day maker. I would never trust something like that for something so important, but two years later he still loves it and hasn't had any pfoblems.

Amazon $50 Shipped Light. I'm sure there are better quality items out there, but I have no complaints about this one.

So obviously, I am now in the market for a good quality LED. HD offers the Daymaker Projector LED. Is this the best quality out there?

I would recommend going with the Premium White LED Drop-In Headlight Bulb H4. You can see it installed and on in the picture below on Dwayne's Dyna. Hope this helps

I took the "poor boy" route. Put LED replacement bulbs (headlight +2 passing lamps) into the stock cans. Got my bulbs from Fuel Moto. They throw out about 400% more light, while using less energy from the system. It was a much welcome change from the poor stock lights. I think I paid about $100 for the three LED bulbs.

I just threw in a OPT7 led bulb, this is about 6.5 feet from the garage door, haven't got a chance to check it out on the road yet but as you can see it's night and day

The 3rd picture is with my speedkings led bar lit up also

I have a MotoIllumination that I'm pretty happy with. Nice and bright and doesn't break the bank. Plus I had it custom painted to match my FXDLS, all in less than 230 bucks. Sorry I don't have any pictures, I'm underway on a destroyer right now and don't have access to the bike or pictures.
