Idle issues and it dies

2003 ultra starts fine seems to idle fine after riding when you stop at a light or intersection rmp drops to 400 to 500, at this point would sometimes die. Some time while riding it will die, complete electrical shutdown. Then every thing comes back on. Took to a mech. Hes said it was a lose btt.term.

OK... So, did he tighten the battery terminal(s) and now you still have issues?

Carb or EFI?

Also just to confirm, you're sure you're loosing all electrical? Not just speedo or whatever directly in your view?
