150 miles is about it. I rode 300 miles on saturday and was good up to the 150 mark then after that had to stop about every 40 miles and get off it. I have forwards along with stock pegs and would'nt have made it that far if I did'nt have both.
I also put in a gel insert which helped big time and threw away the 11" Progressive shocks and went back stock which also helped a lot.
So I guess if you got a totally stock Bob Iwould say a100 mile day would be all you couldput up with.

It will be a huge improvement over the nightster. You'll want to tailor it to your likes, but trips of that length won't be a problem.

Real comfortable-except the "string ray type banana seat) I was all over it. ground down front of pan to meet tank-not go over it. re-shaped seat to fall below tank and fender. To me it looks better and fits my little bum just right-no more adjusting my as-.

I'm happy to do 300 mile trips with stock seat ... I have added a sheepskin pad on top which makes it even more comfortable ... the bike is very comfortable and plenty of power ... will be great two up. You'll need to change the seat to go two up anyway, I'd advise buying a dedicated two person seat rather than a pad ... plenty of advise on here re which one if you use the search tool.

Did 250 last weekend, really have no complaints............isnt a " Dresser" tho is it ?? Dropped the arms couple times, found myself just wanting to move around a bit, not real used to it yet but I could have gone further, I suppose I cheat alittle cause I have bought one of those Bikers Friend.....leather covered pvc pipe bag to strap on the P-pad and lean up against it, it comes with a lumbar support pad that velcros to the round bag...........check it out, I think the web addy for the guy that sells them is " BikersFriend.com"

MUSTANG vintage solo wide I just did a 500 mile trip a thursday after 8 hours of work headed from barstow, CA to Green River UT then got up the next morning and rode to Longmont, CO which is about 400 miles then on sunday rode 500 more miles to ogden, UT. It was an awesome ride I just stop for lots of mini-breaks got highway pegs they help alot. I got heavy duty shocks definate must no more kidney crushing bumps. I used to only do like 100 miles on my stock seat now I feel like I can go forever as long as the wheather is nice.

You fellas gotta toughen up a little....anything short of an Ultra is going to dissappoint, if you aren't willing to make stops every 120 miles or so and look around, and make the trip an adventure, instead of dreading the stop.

I PREFER to stop every 100 miles or so.. I want to get off the bike, look around, talk to others I'm riding with, hell, that's part of the fun!

You all have to get to the point wherethe amount you ride every miles per day means nothing, just forget about all of that bullshuit, and just relax,....enjoy the ride whether it's a 10 mile ride after work, or 200+ miles...I like to stop and drive through small towns, look around, see something new...something you haven't seen before..that is what this is all about everybody!

This is all about the ride...not mileage, not ANYTHING...it's about having FUN!!!!!!!!! You know, that thing you used to have when you were a kid.....
When I take off to ride i just "go"....I decide where I'm going as I get there...who the hell cares?

Everybody PLEASE....Just RIDE....

Joe

I've been riding most of my life but I mostly ride to work an back so I rarely ride more than 30min at a time. That said, the Bob is still the most comfortable bike I've ever owned but like somebody already said ya need to stop every 100 or so miles to stretch your legs, get some circulation back in your backside etc. after all, even a car gets uncomfortable after a couple hundred miles.
