Ha! No doubt.....we change the emissions when we stage 1 the bike anyway, why not remove useless ***** like that valve. Hell, if I woulda known what it was from the start it woulda been gone some time ago. I may revisit this and see about streamlining the look a little, it's prob undetectable but why not make it invisible.

No kidding; just about the moment we lay our hands on the bike for the very first time we're out of .gov compliance; might just as well go all the way
I made sure the flash was on when I took that image so you could see the new hose but when you stand there and look at the bike the hose is now even more discrete. Doesn't sound like much going to 7/32" from a 1/4" hose but you can see the difference. That 7/32" hose will just slide on to the under console connector and the rigid plastic line; the hose doesn't need to be very big, it's just a vent but I don't think you can go smaller than the 7/32" and still use the under console connector and the rigid line...

Reason: love me some typos... ;)
LOL! I just took the hose off at the tank nipple. I like to live dangerous!
Yeah, why not just do this? Delete all of it, lines included.
Is there any drawback besides possibly smelling fuel vapor. Don't care because I vent crankcase to air anyway through breather bolts mounted into heads by the air cleaner.
I removed my vent line about two years ago. Never noticed any drawbacks except the leak when/if the bike falls over. Having a carb, that's not really a problem since the bowl vent/overflow also dumps gas in a tip-over. The odor is also a non-issue with a carbed bike.
That's it. I am so tired of reading about you people intentionally circumventing (see what I did there) emissions equipment and collectively poisoning the planet, that I am calling Al Gore immediately. Last Chance, no ****. I'm gonna do it. LOL.
