Does anyone else's fuel tank groan?

Default Does anyone else's fuel tank groan?
so when people smoke, they go in the garage. A few people have told me my bike was making noise and sure as hell it sounds like a slow whine/groan noise from the tank. Twist the cap off and it stops. I know temp differences cause expansion but I've never had any bike do this. Not worried by any means, but have any of you experienced this?

Fuel vent line is restricted.

Check the vapor line and the vapor valve. If the line is clear delete that stupid EPA vapor valve, I'll bet that's the source of the sound; replace it with a straight vacuum hose connector. I'm venting the tank directly to atmosphere, no moans or groans.

I've got vapor line that sticks out below the bike between the rear engine mount. It's rigid and occasionally leaves a drop. I can smell fuel vapor once in awhile when I'm laying on the ground whipping down the undercarriage. If anyone can expound on deleting the vapor valve TinCup has mentioned please share your project.....thanks

Thanks. I did check the vent line which is clear and not kinked. Was just really surprised to hear this......I like em noisy......
