I've been using the easy bracket system and I'm done. Works great for a while and then starts rattling and I have to add a washer or bend the bracket. Works great for a bit and then starts rattling again. I'm done. Nice idea, but they should have used better steal or rubber mounts.
I'm wondering if any of you guys on wide glides have the HD quick release system on your bikes and if you like it? Or if there is another option out there, that's cool too. I'm all ears. However, I'm not interested in throw-over bags I'd rather them be mounted.
Mine are not in yet so I can't get a review but I ordered leather pro saddlebags from the dealership. I was told they are high quality and quick release?? We will see. I'll post up when they come in
Just mount them Rigid, and take them off when you are done, its only a 4 x 3/8-16 UNC x 2 3/4 Grd.8 and 2 spacers each side 1 x 1.1 inch and 1 x 0.72 inch obviously for both sides, and you just need to get some black nylon 3/8 inch tube to make your spacers, and bags are rock solid, I put the Harley paper so you can see if you need any different.
