Default Radar Detectors???

Is there such a thing for motorcycles? Are they too small to get picked up often? Does anyone use one? I use on in my pickup with good results and was wondering.

The HD P&A catalog lists one. I don't have one, so can't tell you how good they are.

Pick up the latest American Iron. Guy mounted a detector and a jammer. You can pick up a bike, especially if you've got a big headlight.

I use a Passport 8500. It has paid for itself many times over. I got a simple bar mount assembly from either RideGear or a place called Whitehorse, can't remember which. Also need to wire into battery. I wear a helmet and use this gizmo from Legal Speeding, red LED on flexible fiber optic, picks up signal from detector and flashes the LED. Works damn good.

I would look at the Solo. Same as the passport but runs on a battery. Actually turns itself off an on based on motion. RAM makes good mounts.

Radar detectors can be a help, but a good radar operator using his hold button can ruin your day.

I can't be bothered with radar in any of my vehicles. It's just a lot easier to mind the speed limit, relax and enjoy the ride/drive.

Yup, try a combination of:

http://65.102.174.116/rammount/produ...mber=RAM-B-202

http://65.102.174.116/rammount/produ...ber=RAM-B-231Z

I have the last 3 pieces with a different last piece for my Nuvi and it works great.

http://www.ram-mount.com/gps_mounts/...mount_ga21.htm

Solid as a rock and comes off in 5 seconds (everything but the ball, which I put a bandana over).
