Have a friend looking at a used 2010 Superglide Custom and just wondering if anyone has good or bad thoughts about this bike. It has 12K on it and can be bought for around $7500. Bike has new tires and a few other goodies on it and looks to be in good shape.
Any input is appreciated.
Thats good price if its all running fine. Any pics of it? I bought a 2011 last year for the same price and it had about $2500 worth of extras on it. The FXDC is one hell of a bike, a great platform to make it into whatever you want. I find it fun all round, the canyons to longer highway trips plus I think its the best looking bike HD had put out, very classic looks and just the right amount of chrome. I ended up finishing off the stage one with a fuel moto micro tuner and it really woke the beast up as the previous owner only did the AC and pipes.
That looks nice! Get him to take a test ride so he can see how it feels for him. I immediately knew it was going to be my favourite bike once I got on mine. It just felt right.
I prefer the mid controls for foot positions, that one looks like its got the forward control kit on, lots of good aftermarket stuff on it too.

DITTO
If you search my thread posts, you will see that I like this platform very much.
My leaning is much more to the performance riding end of the scale and the FXDC accommodates that preference very well.
The '10 model has all the frame and fork improvements introduced in 06. It is also prior to the CANbus electrical system brought out in '12 that gives some people fits.
Thanks everyone, I have a 07 Streetbob that I really enjoy and this seemed to be a nice bike but I always like to get opinions from you guys on the forum.
I had a 2011 FXDC and the only bad thing I can say about it...............was..........I was STUPID for selling it! Out of the almost 50 motorcycles I've owned, I liked it better than any of them.
IMHO, the Super Glide is the best all purpose, not to mention the best looking, motorcycle in the HD lineup. Hope they bring it back. I'd trade my new Low Rider for an FXDC in a heartbeat. Still kicking myself for selling mine!
Here is my 2010, bought it a year ago from the original {77 year old}, owner. It had about $2K in upgrades and 18,000 miles and was happy to give him $8,000 for it. After a year it now has 36,750 on the clock and runs better than ever...the V&H Propipe 2 in to 1, SE AC and FP3 Tuner really woke the bike up.
