I have an 07 FXDC lately there has been a noise coming from the front brake when you apply it. It's not a whine just a dull rubbing sound. Can anyone help with a solution to the noise. Thanks

 

I think i would have the stealer take a look at it.

 

there have been posts on this before, I think the consensus is 1, stock pads. 2, the cooling holes in the rotor make a sort of "hissing" sound when the pads force air through them when you apply the brake. JMHO. Get louder pipes!!

 

I have the same noise. Sounds like thebrakes are made of paper.

 

I think all of the front brakes make that noise. I would not worry about it as long as you can stop.

 

Wish harley put the Buell brakes on the harleys

 

Mine do it too. I also vote for the Buell brakes.
