These o-rings don't "need" to be replaced every time the plug is out. I've re-used the same one about 3 times now and don't drop a single drip of oil. Granted if you have a pack of them and only paid 43 cents for it you may aswell.

Same here. l change my oil every 5,00 k's, l've got about 83,000 k's on it now and l've never bothered replacing them.
