Wow that was what i least expected from Joe.. he seems like a straight up dude...
this just says that you cant trust anyone... thats why i always make my own **** or only using close friends.
well he just told me he had a water main break at his shop. Finally got ahold of Tim and had him ship my stuff out. I'm going to edit my stuff from above. However, even if he hadn't had the water main break, he was still way over the quoted time, and apparently having a water main break means your email and cell phone stops working. Still a little suspicious based on people replying saying he has been known to steal **** before.... hopefully when the box shows up it's not empty haha.
I'm just glad I don't gotta take off work to drive up there and I don't have to waste $300 on a new ignition switch.
now that this is all over I can finally get back to the build
Sucks about the powder coater. I need to have mine done. The switch cover is basically blind pinned on right? Drill it out and punch out the pin? I'll just do it myself if that dude is that much of a hassle.
you can actually get black ignition key from ebay for like $15. yes, connector is different, but guess what - you don't need that. Just pull wires from the connector and get them directly on switch. they will lock just fine. if you worried - get some heatshrink tubing and lock w/ heat.

That's correct. The rest of the components just unclip and it's ready to be painted/ coated.

I saw those. If i had lost my switch I would of thought about doing something like that although I tend to stay away from anything that isn't quality. But for the budget minded that's a good way to go.
So....Is the Powder Pro guy good to use or no???? I need to get mine done.
Uhh after everything that was said above.... I wouldn't. Take it apart yourself and coat it yourself. If you don't have PC equipment, bring it disassembled to someone local and get it done for 1/5th the price.

Yeah, kind of what I figured. Anybody have a decent tutorial on how to take the switch apart? I haven't even looked at it yet to see the level of difficulty....
