Talking Gotta love the FP3...

I spoke with the folks at Vance & Hines and they predicted I would drop about 4 mpg with the FP3 tune and they were spot on. The bike was running very lean before the tune, the Propipe 2 into 1 and the high performance AC were flowing a lot more air than stock.

Running that lean it ran very hot but got great mileage, about 50 mpg. After the tune I lost at least 30 degrees of engine heat and the mileage dropped to 46. The bike runs much stronger, more HP and torque, cooler and I am more than happy to give up a lousy 4 mpg. Decel pop has vanished like a virgin on prom night and the bike sounds awesome. Works for me!

On my '13 Road Glide Ultra I have V&H slip ons and an A/N big sucker intake, I have the canned map from V&H installed. Mileage dropped about 4 mpg but I think some of that is wrist to throttle correlation.

I'm thinking about getting the FP3 and a TBR exhaust. After checking the app demo on my phone, I only saw a few brands and an 'other' category. Do you think V&H would be able to map it correctly? I would much prefer this over power vision.

V&H will recommend to you a map that will get you close and then you can auto tune for even better performance. Call them.

I wouldn't be too concerned if your brand is not there. The fp3 tune already is generic for most as long as u choose the right setup. 2 into 2 or 2 into 1. Auto tune will do the tweaking.

been running FP3 on my switchback pretty much since it came out

crossbones AC with K&N filter and bassani road rage II
and I average 42-43 around town and 49 on highway..

a dramatic drop in mileage is probably due to you riding it harder
since you have new found power AND SOUND!!

If anyone is interested, ebay started another promotion for 8% back in ebay bcusk and paypal has a promo for 24 payments with no interest with minimum purchase of $600.

I just bought a TBR exhaust and FP3 for $1070 (after ebay bucks) and payment is around $45 a month.
