Default Coil Relocation

I happened to see this coil relocation kit from DK Custom Products so I decide to go for it. http://www.dkcustomproducts.com/99-1...n-Kits_c52.htm I think it will look pretty slick. I got the premium kit that comes with the proper length SE wires in red and a horn that relocates to the front of the frame. I had already relocated my horn but used some crappy ebay special that you can't even hear when the bike is running so hopefully this one will be a little louder.

Just ordered it so once it arrives and I install it I'll post up some pics.

did you see that long black wiring harness in the kit you ordered? You cut the wires goin to the coil then put male end on the ends comng from the main, then plug the long black wiring harness up then route it under the tank and down to new coil location. then put a female end on the coil plug, you end up with 3 connections It is alot easier and more secure in my opinion to cut an solder and use heat shrink to extend the coil harnesswhich only leaves you with one connection. imo I did not like the way instructions has it done , like I said there is nothing wrong with it I just didn't like it personal opinion. You will like the coil relocate it is worth the effort and DK customs are really cool great customer service

Yeah, I saw it and knew that it had to be extended. There just wasn't a lot of info on how to do it. Thanks for the info.
