Coil Relocation
Didn't much care for the wiring harness provided. I thought the connectors were too bulky. Instead, I just extened my harness by soldering extensions into the harness and heat shrinking over the solder connections.
I also decided to do my own thing with the wires. So, I got the kit without wires. I ordered a set of 8" wires from Taylor. Due to the offset of the plugs on the coil, the rear cylinder wire is almost too short. It works but it's a stretch. So, I called Taylor today had they're custom making me a 9.5" wire for the rear cylinder.
The coil mounting bolts that came with the DK kit were too long. The stock bolts were really too short. So, I took the bolts that came with the DK kit, cut them to the length I needed (with the nuts installed on the bolts), and cleaned up the threads by running the nuts on and off a couple of times and removed any burrs with the wire wheel on the grinder.
I know the relo won't be exactly the same for you folks with Dynas but, I thought you might find some useful info here.

Hey Fletch,
We are always looking to improve. How much too long were the bolts?
Would be interested in knowing how much Taylor charged you for the pair of 8" wires, and what the charge is for the 9.5" wire.
No doubt it is cleaner to solder the extensions in, the waterproof connectors are for convenience for many not comfortable with soldering.
Thanks!
