Delphi makes the male side of the plug. Most electronic parts houses either have it or can order it.
If you are looking for the female side of the plug, NO ONE makes them. The only place you can find them is built into the coil. When we were designing our Coil Relo we wanted to use the same plugs for the wire extension, but found out that the female side simply does not exist. Delphi will make them special....minimum order is 10,000 units!!!
Yep, thanks, just lookin for the pigtail to plug into the coil. Guess I'll need to do a little more homework.
I think the wires should be a bit longer. They look stretched.
This was right at the initial installation and although they look stretched, they aren't. They are EXACTLY the right length best I can tell. Since the coil is not mounted to the motor, movement caused by torque is a non-issue.
That being said, their other wire option is a bit longer and may suit your taste better.
this is a cool mod but i dont like how theres an empty spot in front of the fuse cover now....
This is exactly what I like about this kit and It has been added to my list. The reason I like this is because it helps me solve one more issue with running a tru-dual exhaust setup, now I can make a pipe that can exit through this area, like it does on the softies.
