I see a lot of you have the schuberth, and found a C3 Basic in small for about $365, is there much of a difference between the Basic and Pro model? I am looking for a helmet that is more quiet than the Nolan which is not...
Shoei GT Air is the most comfortable and quiet helmet I have owned. Features include great venting, room for speakers and a flip down shaded internal visor. Previous helmets include an Arai, Scorpion and HJC.
I'm gonna be the spelling ****...you said "Bell Rouge" multiple times when I think you meant "Bell Rogue". Rouge is the pink **** that goes on drag queen's cheeks.
ha ha that is funny no matter who you ate. Hey maybe his spell check is the culprit
Just a heads up, but you may want to check your spell check as well.
If your not careful he'll be on you.
Me personally, I have WAY better things to do than to belittle someone else on a public forum like he did for the spelling of 1 word.
Mines similar to the HD Fulmer only the shield exposes the front once its open. With what I'm riding now, the half's & 3/4 allows too much wind in my face.
Garage full of HJC and Vega half, 3/4, Modular full, and full face helmets. Just picked this up Sunday since I've fallen in love with the Sena Bluetooth systems. Sena for Bell helmets is arriving tomorrow. Used a bunch of gift cards to buy this from the dealer since it was actually cheaper than purchasing the Bell online plus I could test fitment.

What the heck am I looking at here? It seems to be a modular of some type but I don't see a hinge.

I started with a Harley 3/4 but only wore it for about a month, I have a tiny head so it looked super goofy. Then I started to shop around and actually research what I wanted.
The past few years I've been riding 99% of the time with a Nolan N103 modular. It's really comfortable for my size, but not a quiet helmet. I also put the basic Ncomm system in it so that I can listen to music or take calls if I have to. I like the simplicity of just having an up and down button, speakers inside the helmet are ok quality.
Since I live in the desert and enjoy temps regularly over 105, I do own an Akoury AK88 half helmet, but to be fair I rarely use it. Sometimes if just heading into work which is about 2 miles away and if I'm not going any distances. I have it set so that it doesn't lift with wind and such, I just prefer the comfort of the full helmet.
The Nolan is pretty beat up though, time to start looking.
Find a local brick-n-mortar store with a good selection (cycle gear is good) and try on EVERYTHING. I was able to go from a L/XL to a M once I found the right SHAPE. Comfort improved, shell size went down, noise is down, parachuting is gone, etc. Fit is EVERYTHING.

Easier to explain with a link. It's 3/4 only but can be configured several ways plus is made specifically for Sena install. https://www.harley-davidson.com/stor...eld-3-4-helmet
Gotcha! Thanks. Does the visor help with glare or cooling or ?
I think it helps with cooling but have read that it's noisy. Just snaps off and a small panel snaps back in its place. I've only ridden around the block to test noise and comfort so far. Haven't even removed the film on the visor or sun shield yet lol.
