So I'm sure there is already a thread about this and done some reading and all I am now is confused.
What I'm dealing with is this. I currently have a 2010 fxdb. Running v&h side shots with bct monster baffles, a joker machine a/c, and a V&h fp3. I'm finding I'm getting an unbearable amount of pops and backfiring. I've tried different base maps and auto tunes with no success. I emailed v&h tech but have not received a response yet.
Ive sort of decided to try a different exhaust. I was thinking the v&h competition series 2 into 1. Where I'm getting confused is do I run O2 sensors? Do I go ahead and pop for new ones? Or do I buy the bungs and eliminators?
If I can get the side shots to stop backfiring it would save me a bunch of $$$. I've tried the bct qq baffles and found them to be way too quiet for my liking.
Any help would be so greatly appreciated

Your right about burning money. Im already into 2 sets of baffles and considering new pipes. I'll see if I can find someone in my area who would be willing to Dyno tune with the fp3
yes stay with o2 sensors if possible, some 2to1's have both size nuts for 18mm and 12mm otherwise stick with your original size of 18mm? think it changed to 12mm from around 2014
