Which dockimg hardware for fxdb.

I'm confused as to which dockimg hardware I need to use for both saddle bags and a sissy bar for my 2016 street bob. I know the harley site states under the Q&A that their set only works with the harley brand quick release sissy bar.

I'm looking to run bags with the easy brackets and quick search sissy bar from another company.

So is there a universal mounting docking solution or will Harleys docking hardware work?

What brand sissy bar? Are your turn signals in the factory location still?

Well first things first, you have to relocate your signals/plate of you haven't already. I just used the sissy bar docking points as if I didn't have bags at all. Instead of using bolts, I bought a 4 foot stud with the same threads at Home Depot (the other HD lol) then cut it to length and used 9/16 nuts to secure the docking points to the bike, then I slid my bags on the excess stud, and secured them with another 9/16 nut. I did this so I could remove the bags without everything coming apart.
