I have 2014 FXDL that a local car dealer wants to trade me a 2015 FLD Switchback for. The Switchback has Arlen Ness Big Sucker a/c, V&H Twin Slash slipon, and SE Fuel Pack, 2400 miles, like new. My FXDL has SE Heavy Breather, D&D Fatcat, and 5800 miles. He wants my bike and $1800. What do you think? I DO miss having bags. I know the Switchback is discontinued, but the engine , frame, etc. is typical dyna, so parts shouldn't be a concern really. The FLD belongs to a salesman who said he just never rides it and wants to get rid of it. They have a "CARFAX" on it, and everything looks good on that.

Switchback is a different kind of ride, if you like footboards, and hard saddlebags, it is actually becoming a collectors item, as not many where sold, and Harley has stopped building them, I would say 1000 usd and your ride is a decent deal.
I like the switchback too but its worth calling out that the frontend is straight off the softail (can't remember the mm) call that inferior to the Dyna perhaps.... up to you.
Bought a new StreetBob in April without test riding it. Could not get comfortable on it and didn't care for its handling. Traded it for a 16 FLD and couldn't be happier with the trade. More comfortable, more stable platform, better handling in spite of the additional 50 lbs of weight, and though its not as trendy as the bobber look, it has a nice retro Electraglide vibe to it.
