Default Front tire wear

My 2013 Switchback front tire has more wear on the left side than the right.
Anyone else experience this? I found an article on-line explaining the roads being angled for water run off and left turns being longer since we ride on the right side of the road.
I've just never noticed it on any of my other bikes.

I've never noticed it on my bikes but being a Chrysler tech I'm familiar with road crown. It makes sense but at the same time the tire as such a small surface area that's actually in contact with the road that I wouldn't expect road crown to have any effect on wear. However I could be wrong (according to the ol I usually am). I'm interested to read others responses and see if they've experienced similar wear patterns.

Never had that issue here. 80% city riding, 20% hwy.

go look at some bikes around you. See if they have similar patterns. If so, then you can rule in the road theory . If not, then something is off on your bike. You'll need to take out your gremlin bell.

I would suspect a broken cord in the tire or manufacturing defect. In all my years of riding I've never had one do that even on heavy touring machines. When I dealt with car tires for a living broken belts or cords were quite common and cause the same issue.

A good place to start is to check your front engine mount and make sure it isn't collapsed then verify your chassis alingment per the factory manual.

My front tyre wears more on the right than the left but in the UK we drive on the left. The local bike shop here sees it all the time, they think it is caused by the road crown and has a lot to do with the type of road surface.
