It takes 40-50 miles of straight downpour before is starts. It is definitely water in the filter. I have pulled over and drained it. I have dialectric on the plugs, and wires.

not to keep the thread alive, but yeah, I've been choked out in heavy rain before. nope, it's not the plugs.
once you ride in this rain we get up here you'd understand. I mean heavy downfall standing water on the road type rain.
