Default Changed my motor mounts.
I put new motor mounts on my 07 wide glide. She rides a lot better and smoother but she has some vibration in 5th gear. Only in the foot pegs between 2600 and 2900 rpm. Only when I am on the gas. She is smooth if a hold a steady speed. You would think it would be in all the gears but only 5th. Does not really bother me. Just doesn't make sense to me. Any ideas?

Stock mounts?... have you performed the 'vehicle alignment' in the manual?

You might be a candidate for shim job as well.

Different mount may have a different harmonic vibration that you're not used to.

Yes stock mounts. I have done the alignment. The vehicle, vertical and rear wheel alignment. No need for shims. There was no gap.

What is your setup, as far as intake/exhaust and tuner or not?

S&S teardrop air cleaner. Rinehart exhaust. With a power vision tuner.

I figured it out. The jiffy stand was touching the frame. Never would have thought the jiffy stand touching the frame would cause vibration in the pegs.

Yep exactly the gremlin I found a few days ago, the rubber had moved round and jiffy was touching metal, glad you got it sorted.

Don't know but I got the same thing on the 05 WG ,Just did front mount a rear tire holy smokes what a difference sure would like to find the rest od the vibes
