yup, the new M8s bikes are inbound. by this time next month, all the info leaks and photos will be popping up. let's contain the rage in this thread... especially if you just rode off the lot.
i will start... I'm cvaria and I am .... ... ... ... not really concerned. i will wait 3-5 years then buy a "newer" wide glide. i refuse to buy anything new.
Just another example of a publicly traded company trying to become more efficient in order to pay their shareholders more.
I started a Master's program in Systems Engineering last January. I am interested in making something better and more effiecent. If it can be done with less waste, all the better.
The program, and most companies (including HD) seem to be more focused on less waste (more profit) and less focused on building a better product. I quit the program after one semester.
I prefer stuff to be overbuilt, which is getting harder and harder to find.
Thank God for old iron; the mothership can kiss my lilly white ***. I'll never buy a new HD, ever again. I did that twice; once in '79 and again in ''14, and never, ever, again, will that happen.
I know what an HD is; the corporate ****-ants forgot what it is, the bottom line and catering to the moronic leftist millennials is all they care about. **** them all.
HD can burn in the fires of failure now; I'll ride metric before another new HD is in my garage...

Reason: Figured I should clean that rant up a bit ;)
Can't see myself buying anything newer than my '09, at least not in the foreseeable future. Maybe 15-20 years from now when I hopefully have more time for touring, I'll want something newer.
I do hope to add another Harley to the garage in the next few years, but it will be a shovelhead or evo powered chopper.
