Putting the custom back into my Superglide custom
bought this bike used (2012 superglide custom) June of 2016 and rode it stock all last year. Over the winter I added a bunch of parts including a wideglide kit, 4" rises, custom bars, switchback rear fender, wrap front fender, thunderheader, forward controls etc etc. Did all the wrenching myself. Tuned with powervision.
I hate the look of the backrest but my son and daughter like riding with me so it has to be there...the switchback fender is almost a bolt on project, but if you are running the lights like I am you either have to drill holes in the fender to run the wires or loop them around (like I did).
Future plans are chroming the fork lowers and painting the bike. I really like the "big blue" factory color but its starting to show its age and the front wrap needs paint.
