well I finally got my 16 inch el Diablo bars on my lrs. Same ones I had on my street bob. Wow, what a pain in the ****in ***. Trying to stuff all those ****in wiring harnesses in the bars was absolutely miserable. There's a 90 degree bend at the bottom of the bars so that's what made it hell. Now that it's done, I absolutely love the way they look. Anyway here's some pictures since I have yet to see a single lrs with apes on it. Unfortunately I ordered a much longer brake line than I should have so I'll have to order a new one but at least I can ride it until it gets here
They do look sweet & definitely side on the difficulty getting those wires to cooperate. Lost my cool a few times threading them on FLHX & not looking forward to the next set. Hoping to get by w/2" spacers (DK Customs) for now and maybe tackle another bar swap a few years down the road. Good job!

thank you! Yea I definitely started loosin my **** when I was tryin to get the harnesses through. When I installed em on the street bob, it only had one or two harnesses on each side so it was easy but this one had 8 total so it was hell. It was kind of cool though cause I normally use weed whip string to pull the harnesses through, but on these, I couldn't get it passed the 90. So I taped all the holes on the bars off with electrical tape and put a vacuum up to the hole in the end of the bar to suck string through, and it instantly pulled the string right through. It was awesome. If anyone ever tries that, make sure to tie the other end of the string so it doesn't pull it all the way through.

Is your brake master cylinder cover leaking brake fluid? Mine did after I put new bars on mine. Had to buy a new cover.
Also, looks like you installed it on the wrong way. Thick side should be on the left, at least that's how it comes stock...

yea it was leaking. I had to buy a new one too. Yea I didn't notice I put it on backwards until afterward but didn't want to touch it again until I replaced it cause it was leaking. Everyone I know says once you pull the cover, they leak. My last bike didn't though.
