Default Easy brackets review

a few months back I built my own locking quick detach saddlebag mount using flat stock, HD dock points and locking sissy bar latches. It worked great however as all detachables do, started to rattle once the dock points started to wear.

So so after only getting one car to work on today (Chrysler dealer is exceptionally slow) I finally decided to install my easy bracket mounts. I'll post a pic when I get a chance but damn these things are nice. Bags are only out about a quarter of an inch from the mounts I built and these things are absolutely solid. I like the size of them and the fact that they secure to the bags with four bolts each so I know it's not gonna tear apart my shitty Viking bags. All the hardware was included, and was correct so that's a big plus. I would highly recommend these to anyone wanting lockable QD mounts.

I had them on a bike a few years ago and had the same experience; the EZ Brackets were great! Viking Bags? Not so much.

I have them too. I only use them for trips and usually keep them off for a clean look and they only leave the cam bolts behind.

I have the Harley bags ones similar to them got them off fleabay new half price great for long rides as put in quite a bit of kit, I just bolt them on solid as I feel brackets put them to far out for me and wind grabs a little more, and for the weekly running around got the little Bad&G DL01 and DR01 they are great for stuffing a few tools and set off wet gear in and the stupid HI-Viz vest we now have in Europe, as is mandatory in case of breakdown or accidents in many places now.
