Absolutely love my Switchback. Very underrated for what it is. Waiting till warranty expires in 2020 and will be doing a beefier power plant. For now it still keeps me happy. 2014 with 27,000 miles. Multiple 2500+ trips. To eliminate the wind that comes from underneath purchase and install the fork deflectors. Glides down the hwy at 85 without a hiccup.
For mods I have a Arlen mess intake, V&H pro pipe, and power vision tuner. Will probably do cams lifters pushrods in the next couple thousand miles. I want a little more pickup to last me the next couple years.
Some Love it , Some Don't .. It was not the Right Bike for me , didn't care for the handling but am only speaking from a 20 mile Test Ride .. If it calls your name .. Go For It ..
I love mine. I am older now and did not want all of the extra weigh of a Road King I used to have. The handleing is amazing. The 103 is not a lugger like the old evos were though. It likes to spin a little faster like a jap bike. I am getting used to that though. On level ground I can cruise at 2000 rpm in sixth gear easily. Any rise in the road though your down to 5th gear at 2400 rpm cause she won't lug.
