Default Low Rider Center Console / Speedometer

Has anyone replaced the center console on a Low Rider so that only 1 speedometer is used. On my sportster I had the H-D digital combo speedo with analog tachometer. I really liked it.

I do like having the separate tach on my Low Rider but if i could find a clean solution to the center console that could utilize the H-D Combo speedo/tach i would do it. One issue is handling the left/right turn signal indicators.

Would like something clean and not 'home-made'. If anyone has pictures or solutions would much appreciate sharing. Thanks.

You may be able to use a street bob dash without the dash switch, and just the 1 hole for the speedo. As far as I know the tanks are identical physically.

I have a low rider s so it's basically the same gauges. I swapped the speedo for a stock prostreet breakout combo gauge. It's the same as the digital combo that goes for $315 but you can't change the colors. I left the tach. Everything worked. I can post pics if anyone's interested. Plug and play and it was less than $200. I can get a part #. Just not home right now.

I'd like to see that. Does the new speedo have signal indicators?

It doesn't have any of the indicators that are on the tach. They both work in tandem. You just have an extra tach. It actually looks pretty cool with both working.

I wondered about that. So essentially you have two tachometers. Thanks

When I had my '06 Low Rider, I swapped the dash with a 2010 Wide Glide dash so I could relocate the key. I didn't relocate the indicators because I liked stock location, but the whole project was easy enough to do. All you would need to do is replace the speedo with the combo unit.

for the street bob gauge and idiot light only console:
swap out harness(s) and the console. then elongate the ignition lock wires to keep your key in the same location if your bike uses a key.

for a ignition lock, guage, and idiot light console:
swap to a non-lowrider harness is all.

assume you want to see your idiot lights. you'll lose all the stuff that lights up in your tach....(oil, directional, neutral)

compare:
a. non-LR
b. LR

Plug and play. There is a gear indicator but it won't show till you're in gear and moving. Service part # 70900585 Do a search using just the # and New Castle HD has it for $170.67. Just call to double check that it's for a CVO ProStreet Breakout. (99% sure that's the right #)
I went with this gauge because it was the only digital gauge I could find that has an ABS and cruise control lights. The original tach has the turn signal and idiot lights built into it so I just left it in place.

Does the fuel gauge work? Since the mileage should be tracked by the ECU does your correct mileage show? or is it tracked by the unit and now you have incorrect mileage showing?
