Upgrading my 2002 fxd to dual gauge speedo and tach

Apparently this is the part number that was sent to me. Guy who sold it to me told me it belonged to someone else before him. Doesn't have the box or anything.

I guess at some point they had to do some wiring so he sent me this pic

Hi All,

i purchased a dual gauge setup online from someone off of facebook in one of the groups. He stated he wasn't sure what year they came off of, but that it should probably work with my bike. I plugged in the connector to my bikes harness and the indicator lights all worked (high beam, turn signals, neutral, etc), but the speedo or tach would not light up or work themselves.

After a while i I found out that the part is from an 04/05 setup.

Did i buy an incompatible part? Or did someone sell me busted gauges?
