I have a 2010 dyna wide glide. I have had no problem with it but this past weekend I went to go ride it and it didn't wanna start. It started smoking nearly my battery and then I put a charger on it and it would simply flash the light in the speedometer and when I'd go to turn it over it would just click. I'm pretty positive it isn't the battery my dad read it might be a turn signal sensor issue. Any ideas?

Being pretty positive that it isn't your battery is not good is not a valid diagnostic tool. It needs to be load tested.
Check to see if you threw any codes. Doubtful it's the turn signals.
Probably a loose connection, it pretty much becomes a arc welder = smoke.

Got off of work in the morning, jumped on the bike, hit the start button and the engine tried to turn over then click click click. I new right away it was the battery cables. Jumped off the bike and saw smoke coming from under the seat. HOLY CRAP!!.
Grabbed a screw driver to take off the seat and this is what I found. Well long story short. Called AAA and they brought a enclosed trailer and took the bike home.
Dropped an new battery in the bike and everything is good to go. Thanks to all the great info on this forum I was able to trouble shoot this issue right away. And yes I will buy a battery tender for the new battery.
