They didn't have my owners manual delivered with my 2017 lowrider s so the dealer gave me the 2017 dyna book they had for the standard lowrider they had on the floor. I just wanted to make sure there's no supplement or alternative manual that I should have gotten. Also can anyone tell me what service manual I need to get? Thanks in advance
I'm not sure on the owners manual. If it doesn't have any categories for s models or cvo models then I'd say it's useless. If you want a service manual, I don't see the need for an owners manual. As far as the service manual goes you should be good with a 2017 Dyna series. That's what I have and it covers all Dyna models including the lrs which is what I own
Thanks everyone I do have a paper owners manual for the 2017 dyna and it does cover the s in specific areas I just wanted to make sure nothing was missing I was supposed to have.
Go back to the dealer and get your proper OM. If they won't get it for you, contact the MOCO. They'll be "interested" in hearing about their dealership not supplying proper paperwork with a new vehicle. Chances are, you'll have the correct paperwork quickly, and a free service for your trouble. At a minimum....
It just covers basic stuff. The service manual is what you need if you plan on keeping the bike a long time, and want to know how to do repairs.
I agree but I want everything that's supposed to come with the bike.
in the owners manual it says I'm supposed to have been supplied a spanner for my suspension I guess I need to make a phone call or take a ride in
