fo you guys replace your motor mounts with HD parts, or is there a better aftermarket choice? I noticed yesterday on my ride home around 90-100 I start to get a wicked vibration in the pegs (forward controls). I got up to 90 and pulled the clutch in and it immediately smoothed out. Once I got off the highway I raised the rpms to where they were at 90 which was about 3300 rpm and it was there again. I also notice the engine moves much more than it should at idle.
I took a few pics for those who haven't experienced this yet. Forgive me for how dirty my bike is but it just rained here and my driveway is about 1/4 mile of gravel. My bike is still under warranty but if the mount is cheap enough is rather pay for it than take it to the dealer and have it down for a day or two. I am aware there is an alignment procedure as well but I still have to read about what it consists of.
2017 lrs w/117 and 17k miles. So what have you guys had the best experience with, oem or aftermarket? Thank you.
Doesn't help the bike is dirtier than a 7 mile hooker, but if you look close, you can see the isolator is starting to separate.
No better mount for vibrations. There are better mounts and better add ons (vibratecnics, sputhe, true track) but they will increase vibes. They will stop the *** sway that our dyna get if aligned correctly

well i I don't mind the vibration it had before this. I actually like the way the motor vibrates from the factory, just the vibration from the motor mount being blown has to go. The way the motor shakes from the factory is something I find desireable like it's one of those things that it's like "**** yea, it's a Harley". I just don't want to replace my mount every year since I put a lot of miles on it.
I have a vibratechnicson my low rider. while no noticable difference in vibration (which has never been an annoyance to me anyway), it is a much better designed mount.
mine does the same wicked vibration around 2k pegs and controls goes away with clutch. my mount looks fine but way prying on it other day just to check and vibration went away. came back now im shopping mounts
Had a front mm replaced under warranty at 8k miles. Dealers have seen it all.... Don't let em fool ya. Check your swing arm bearing/bushing..... I'd bet there's some play there too... I had two sets replaced under warranty.... Of course.... They had never seen one fail
