I had it on my Low Rider S - worked great. There are instructions on the page.
Either can definitely be DYI if you can turn a wrench. All you really need is to get the rear wheel off the ground to make life easier. A cheap scissor platform jack from amazon will do it. (use caution not to hit the oil pan).
Mchad gave you the best advice you could get. I'll second the great bike gear kit (I have it on my lrs) but I didn't Jack the bike up for my street Bob or my lrs.
This is is absolutely a diy job. If you need any help whatsoever, either post a thread or pm us. You can do it!!!
The whole job should take you about an hour if you're installing the bags too. Check out some you tube videos, you'll see this is an easy task
I have a 2102 FXDWG. With the quick detach sissy bar.
I purchased:
90369-06D Harley-DavidsonŽ Leather Saddlebags | Bar & ShieldŽ | DynaŽ
68544-10 Harley-DavidsonŽ Turn Signal Relocation Kit | Dyna Wide GlideŽ
Local dealer quoted me minimum $500 to install these items.
Is this something that can be DIY?
Do I need a motorcycle floor jack to do this?
Any videos available showing how it is done?
Thanks for your help.
the relocation kit you bought should be an easy hook up, not knowing the hourly rate, it is still some mark-up.
DIY or a mate with a both of wiring knowledge would indeed get you a lift and then some for free
i took the other relocation kit option to keep the side plate, and use the leatherpro's. They are great bags with second to none support.

I would like to see a picture of the bike! A “2102” Wide Glide! Kidding aside, it shouldn’t be too hard if you have any mechanical and/or electrical ability. Can you solder the wiring? It’s easier with the bike jacked up as you will be working on the inside of the rear fender. On my1998 fxdwg I did the same, moved the turn signals and put saddle bags on. I didn’t have the option back then for detachable bags or sissy bar but I wanted to be able to remove the bags so I remodeled the HD design to where I can remove the bags as only 2 bolts hold each one on. If you do this yourself just take your time and think it through. Don’t rush and you should be ok.

Shouldnt need to solder. Connectors can easily be depind. Just take photos and make sure the right colors go back in the right spot. E-Z

I didn't catch the mistake! 2012.
What are your thoughts on this jack:

Should be this connector.
Mine didnt have those as my instructions and bags came with butt connectors but I soldered mine. I guess looking back on it I could have pulled the whole fender harness and de-pinned the main connector under my seat. My turn signals are hard wired.
