Galvanic corrosion. It happens with all dissimilar metals but some combos are worse than others. Copper against aluminum will chew thru the aluminum in pretty short order.

This process is why you see sacrificial zinc anodes in water heaters, boats, marine structures, etc. The zinc protects the steel

The more anodic of the metals will corrode first/fastest.

Nah, don't sweat it. The studs and nuts are both steel. The copper stuff you have is perfectly fine.

Same thing happened to Statue of Liberty, if I remember right they put UHMW shims between the skin and supports to isolate.

I used my copper stuff, bike is together, re-mapped and running.

havent ridden it yet, just idled while setting up the guages on the power vision,

now i need to figure out how to vent to atmosphere with this Fuel Moto AC/DC intake system.

Absolutely on this Post .. Also works for any Anti-Seize needed application so no worries about it just sitting around for High Temp Only applications ..
