Big City Thunder baffles for SEII Slip ons (SOUND CLIP ADDED)
Ordered the new baffles from Big City Thunder on Monday, they were delivered on Wednesday of the same week!! Took me about 5 minuted to get the stock baffles out of the Screaming Eagle 2 pipes and another 5 minutes to get both of the new baffles installed. Biggest problem is trying to get the holes on the bottom lined up (an alignment punch helps!) 4 new bolts with lock nuts are included in with the baffles and they even threw in a FREE T-Shirt for me too!
I wish there was a way to have sound included in a post because Im telling you these things wake that exaust up and it sounds HELLASHIOUS!! For those of you that like quiet, these are NOT for you, but for those of you that dont give a ratts azz about what the neighbors think at 5AM as you leave for work......... GET EM!! Guy down the street has straight pipes on his, and EVERYONE around here says mine sounds 300% better than his does.
I wish Big City would pay me for my endorcement, but even though they are not...... I can NOT say enough GOOD things about these new baffles! I will let you all know in another week when my buddy runs it on the dyno, but so far I do not think we are going to have to change the map I am running right now.

How much did they set you back?
$129.95 plus I think it was like $12.00 for shipping and handling. When you consider the cost of a new set of pipes, I feel it is well worth it in the long run.

Wonder if I can get them for my V&H Shorties?
Jay, I took this off of their web site.....
How Do I Know If Thunder Monsters Will Fit My Pipes?
Big City Thunder products work in any 4 cycle engine with a straight pipe type exhaust from a single cylinder up to 6 cylinder motorcycles with any cubic inch displacement. Installation instructions are included with all our products. If you have Hooker, Vance & Hines, Bub, Cobra, Samson, Porker (formerly White Bros.), Rinehart, Jardine, Bassini, Custom Built, or other aftermarket pipes that at the exit end are straight with no curve at the exit end *(does not include tips that can be removed), - that measures 1 5/8", 1 3/4", 1 7/8", 2" or 2 1/8" inside diameter, or as noted above for Screamin' Eagle Pro II Slip Fit Mufflers or for certain alternate applications, Thunder Monsters will fit your bike. They are compatible with a slash cut pipes.
Might be worth giving them a jingle and asking.........
RE: Big City Thunder baffles for SEII Slip ons A++!
I had asked a indy here bout em myself the other day.He says they are great also but didnt have the ones for se2 pipes on hand and said he hadnt heard them yet as the other bct baffles he had on hand.So I havent ordered them as of yet 130 bones giving it some thought. Be nice if someone could post the sound difference between the se baffles and bct baffles in a punt file I believe it is.

There is a post somewhere around there like that, maybe its in the Exhaust section, it might even be on you tube as well.
