changing to that forward pointing air cleaner radically changes how much you can reach with your feet, we have to use those if my wife rides a big twin, so she can reach the brake pedal.
I have had several different styles over the years but I have stayed with the Kuryakyn Dually's I have on now. They seem to support more foot positions than pegs.

Kuryakyn seems to be the brand of choice, will see if I can find someone riding with those.
