Hello all.
Just joined the forum , I've been watching for a while
I got a 2002 dyna low rider about 3 weeks ago, rode it a couple times but it gets a little cold out there.
I did get the trip odometer to 52 miles and notice i was over 2 gallons of gas shy of the full tank I started with??
I can imagine a 1300 takes a little fuel but 26 miles to a gallon, I think thats what my wife's car gets.
Any ideas ?
Thx
SK
Thanks, it is carbureted , I'll check the enricher, it does not look or smell like there are any leaks in the fuel system and it runs real well
Thanks again
Given the age, it wouldn't be a bad idea to go thru the entire fuel system, from tank to intake, to make sure there are no problems. All the rubber bits get hard and crack from age and ethanol.
I'm new to the Dynas...when I bought my 2006 FXD 35 , 1450 cc I was told 26 mpg. Bought it bout 2 weeks ago and I've been working on it so I haven't figured what it is giving me mine is EFI 6 speed
