Sharkey.. There is alot of HP in the stock heads if you work them right, Looks like you found the rightguy by the numbers. which cams did he use ? Also the color match frame and swingarm look good. Bike looks fast just sitting there. I'd Love to hear it....Hatts off to ya..
My103 build includes HQ heads, 0033-G cams and ignition, CP 10.6-1 pistons supplied by HQ, SE 103 stroker crank, a 51CV carb and the pipes are Cycle Shack 2". Would have liked to go with Khrome werks AR100's but they were discontinued. Used KW pipes on two previous builds (a 100hp Sporty and a 95" '01 Street Bob). I like the sound AND the "stock" look.....
Also put Baker shift drum, forks and pawl in the tranny; may yet go with the DD6 next winter. As well, I used 12.5" Progressive 418's on back and slid the forks up in the trees just to get it a bit lower. The wheels and spokes are from Buchannans; heavy duty spokes on back (4.25X18 rim). While the driveline was out we had the frame, stock fenders, '04 tank and Sputhe swingarm painted Dodge Electric Blue. The motor uses Sputhe mounts, and I've now got Lyndall composite rotors front and back, it all rolls on Bridgestone Battlax radial rubber; 160/60R18 rear and a 110 front.
It's light; it handles and it's a blast to drive. Only problem is not much else to do to it except ride!!! Does excellent duty as a "bagger lite" with the wife on back, too.
We heat cycle the motor a few times in the shop, then keep the rev's down for a while when I'm on the street; could have had more miles on it before the dyno but I needed it checked before going on a tour with the wife.
Software??? Is that something to do with the seat? I go solo with a Danny Gray (discontinued) and for two-up use a HD Sundowner. Spent a day on a new 96" Road King with the wife and the only real advantage on the RK was the barn door windscreen; she found it less turbulent. Going to add a couple of windshield wings to the tall 'screen and see if that helps a bit.
I dropped my'07 SBoff at the stealer this afternoon to have my spoke wheels swapped with a '07 Low Rider demo they had with the black/polished wheels. I know, a bobber as supposed to have spokes but I really like those wheels.
When I made the deal on my Super Glide Custom I told the Dealer I loved everything about the bike except the spokes. He looked over at a nearby Lowrider and said, "Lets switch the wheels from that Lowrider... they arethe samesize tires...and we will absorb the labor costs" We did it and I love the look.
How about you guys - What do you perfer?
I feel like the mags are stronger although I really don't know. I don't have to worry about intertubes.. and I don't have to deal with cleaning them or tightening spokes.
I did the same thing only my wheels came off of a Superglide standard so that they would color match my motor (silver inset instead of black). I was told (by a good authority) that the standard rims were cheap $40 pieces plus I wanted no cleaning flat tire or spoke maintenance issues. I'm happy plus it sets my Superglide Custom apart from the others. ALSO, if you do the trade you end up having to trade the front rotor too (this has probably been mentioned but I didn't read the three pages of posts before posting) and it is a better match for the Vrod brembo caliper which is my next mod.

I bet he was willing to absorb the labor costs as his actual shop cost to do the exchange is less than $50.00 to $75.00 and the laced wheels are a $450.00 option. You're a shrewed negotiator and you just made your SG Custom into a standard Superglide. You'll have issues trying to resell it as a Custom.
The option wheels are the profile laced wheels which don't look like Suzuki Volusia rims which is what the Superglide Custom lace wheels look like, cheap $40 rims. I have gotten many compliments on the cast rims on my custom. As far as having "issues trying to resell it as a Custom" that's as silly as saying I'd have issues trying to resell it as a Custom if I went to a solo seat, not to mention the fact that as a used bike the only current Dynas that are going to bring extra cash for not being standards are Low Riders and Wide Glides (yes it's true I don't think Street Bobs will be anything special in the used market for some time). BTW I love the classic elemental look of spoke wheels and the engineering elegance that they represent but I dislike the cheap garden variety Huffy style spokes that HD puts on their bikes.
mags!!!!!!!!!!! all black! because everyone else has spokes. i have mags, but what are you guys so worried about cleaning your bikes for? if your taking time to clean it, you are not riding it enough.
only time my dyna has ever been cleaned is if i have to take it to the damn dealer, or there are some hot *** girls having a car wash somewhere.
