Default 2007 Owners manual error???

When looking at the 2007 owners manual I noticed that the cold oik full mark is lower then the how full mark. This does not make sense to me as when the bike sits the oil would gradually move down. And when hot the oil would sill be up in the engine. Am I wrong in thinking this?

The 2006 manual had the oil and transmission plugs reversed.

you're technically right , but the majority in increased oil lever between cold and hot is due to the expansion of the oil when heated. thus, if you were to measure theamount of oil cold, andheat it, you would find that you then had more oil when it was hot.
