Been looking at them, but hate to pop out 400 clams just to make it run better, and no guarantee that it will. My '06 Road King doesn't have one and it's smooth as butter.

Did you change the exhaust and intake without adding a tuner? I changed the exhaust and opened the intake, then installed a V&H FP3 using their canned map and all is fine on my Road Glide Ultra. Since then I also put on the plumbing for external oil vapor breathing, keeps the vapors out of the cylinder. I'm sure the FP3 will work for you. If you have a smart phone install the APP and do the demo/tutorial. It's that easy.

Plugs are normal when white on a good condition modern FI motor. Adding fuel increase fuel/air ratio only decreases engine life.
Poking around in stop and go city travel can tan them but a interstate run of 55-75 of 50 miles will leave them white.

Had SE muffls on it and it ran great without changing anything. Tried some louder pipe, too loud and put the SEs back on. Now, it feels like I'm running on one cylinder. Don't even want to ride it.
