Default Help me diagnose
My 2009 Street Bob has been sitting in the cold the last several months. It's on a battery tender and the battery seems fine. I took it out to run it around the block a couple of times and when I try to start it I just get clicks. I've attached an audio file. Anyone know what my problem is? Fuel problem?

how old is the battery?
Sounds to me like it's toast.....

CHARGE it.....NOT on tender......then have it load tested.....

Battery might be frozen up. I'd recommend pulling the battery and keep it on the tender inside the house for a day and then try it again. That might work for you.

Noise is the starter clicking due to not enough battery to turn it over. Need to load test the battery, then check your stator....

I'd agree, sounds as if there isn't enough juice to engage the starter. Also check the battery connections. Fastest way to tell if it's the battery is to connect it to a car with jumper cables and attempt to start the bike WITHOUT the car running. A car battery should allow you to crank over crank the bike normally. That's where I'd start (pun intended).

Dead battery.

Other than that it seems fine...
