2011 Dyna street bob
clicking noise coming from IAC after switch is turned to ON position. Bike won’t crank over.
Part number on module is 59603.
Could a faulty module stop the system from cranking the engine over?
I didn’t see any codes.
the bike will crank intermittently. When it cranks over no clicking from the module. When it doesn’t crank the clicking starts. I disconnect the module clicking stops.
I guess my question is, is that module connected to the starting system which would prevent the circuit from being complete , hence , no crank.
Starter system problem. You said you did not see any error codes. Well, if you unplugged the IAC, it will throw an error code. Look up checking error codes on you tube for your bike. Check your battery terminals for good contact and check for a good clean chassis ground.
